What Guides Us
The values behind everything we do
Environmental Stewardship
We believe communities thrive when the land, water and forests around them are healthy and conserved.
Sustainable Livelihoods
Better incomes and food security come from farming in harmony with nature — not against it.
Inclusion & Empowerment
We prioritise women, youth, older persons and vulnerable groups in every programme we run.
Community Participation
Restoration and development must be led and owned by the people who live on the land every day.
Constitution-Backed Mandate
A wide mandate to serve the environment and our communities
Our Constitution empowers WCEAD to undertake a broad range of agricultural, environmental and livelihood activities — always in an environmentally sustainable way and always for community benefit.
